Dinner and guest speaker Dr. Alan Taylor, One of America’s leading historians and an alumnus of the Library Company’s Fellowship Program. Dr. Shaw Taylor is the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation Professor of History at the University of Virginia and the author of eight books, including William Cooper’s Town: Power and Persuasion on the Frontier of the Early Republic and the Internal Enemy, Slavery and War in Virginia.
